The poor kid simply hit the "cash" button before typing in the total. I used to work at BB (now an attorney), so I feel sorry for the kid. The OP committed retail theft by knowingly leaving the store with a product he didn't pay full value for (differentiated from receiving a computer by mistake because of the intent requirement). If the kid is not fired he will surely be written up and never able to move upward in the company to get things like health insurance and other benefits. What's worse is that this is the time of the year when BB takes on a lot of new hires.

Windows PCs with enabled File Sharing (or whatever they call it, that new confusing Homegroup with a code or password or something) show up in Finder's sidebar. "It just works".

I think that if/when they announce the 'true video iPod', whatever it will be...will be done at MWSF.
Zune is already announced, it's old news...if someone is going to buy it, good for them...the content management is enough for me not to even think about getting one (let alone Microsoft being the largest reason).
MWSF gives them enough time not to get caught up in the rest of this hoiday season's consumer electronics...PS3/Wii (more non-MS products :D )...and get a fresh audience at the start of their fiscal Q2.

Why did Apple do away with live feeds of the event? That seems like a good idea. What are they trying to avoid?
That little thing called bandwidth. You know how many people will be hitting that streaming video stream if it were live? With it being tape delayed, Apple can somewhat spread out the number of people who will be watching it.
Heck I have a hard enough time viewing the keynote hours after it was released, never mind trying to do it live.

Y would they make a verizon iPhone before July when they come out with a new one anyway. It's stupid I'm shure that they will come out with one when they always come out with them in JULY. For years AMD and Intel have played "leap frog" with one another in terms of performance. It's only recently that Intel has taken the lead after a lengthy duration of AMD dominance. Now that Apple has moved to x86, I see nothing wrong with Apple offering a choice of processors based on whatever brand can offer the best price/performance ratio. Say what you want about Dell, but they've recently starting offering AMD-based computers, and in my opinion this competition is good for the consumer.
And for those of you stating that AMD processors run too hot, wake up and smell the coffee. You're about 4 years behind. I'm happy with Black Ops so far. Let me say this though, i have not touched the Single Player and have only played like 10 minutes of Zombies. So this is from a multi-player perspective.
Pros:
Good Map Variety - I think the maps are well designed. They have a few good places where snipers could actually hide and do their thing. In MW2, good luck finding a hole to crawl into. Generally it was shoot and move.
Points System- I like the points system. It let's me get my gear the way I want it quicker. That helps with my KD Ratio.
Balance - I think this is more balanced than MW2. It gives new players a chance to get in the game while giving experienced players a nicer challenge. No more getting screwed quite as much if you wern't the fastest.
Cons:
Connectivity - I find it very laggy at times. Perhaps that's due to initial server load, but someone needs to fix this
Graphics: While it's Ok, the fire animation is.....
Stupid Killstreaks: Yeah, RC Car, I'm looking at you.

So what has R&D and the developers being working on soooo much that the Developor API had to be hidden for months? And that the FASTEST and newest Mac out there didn't even make it into the Keynote?!
We've seen in the last few weeks -
Pretty much complete loss of DRM from the labels, to move to watermarking.
Pretty much complete move to Blu Ray as DVD successor of choice (though note the quad hd screens - monitors can easily now outperform the 1080p resolution)
The CES showing Apple a year ahead, and Apple being missed. The biggest hits at CES? Buglabs?? Bull - Alienware's gamer screen (linked with the Wii remote hack to turn your TV to 3D this'd be *awesome*), Wireless USB, USB displays, that link easily to daisychain (and can be done remotely too), WiMax, USB3 demo'd. Big TV's, projectors were big. Apple should have noted this, and have caught on to the fact that if it offers a decent Hub, that people will plug their HD gaming rigs, and other boxes to it, and it'll rule the den/roost.
This is Apple's moment to be head and shoulders ahead, and right after CES 2008. Whilst they'll still not release everything in one go at MWSF - you can expect meaty updates across all lines this year.
P.S. - Anyone know why the new Mac Pro was called Early 2008? Is that normal naming?

I have a Seido Spring-Clip, which shows off my phone more than some other cases. I don't know, I just can't picture some stranger coming up to me talking about how my phone sucks. Never had that happen.
I did get inquiries about my phone from strangers, but always positive.
I joke around with friends about it, but that's different.
End of the day though, no phone is perfect. Buy what makes you happy. Everyone has different needs.

This is the point. It doesn't matter which side of the coin you're on regarding privacy. Off means off. On means on.
And if this were RIM, MS, Google or anyone else that had an important feature crippled due to QA, no doubt the ones claiming Apple's innocence here (and decrying everyone else has conspiracy theories) would be the ones laughing at, making theories, getting outraged, etc.
It's not a question of giving Apple a free pass. EVERY company should be liable. And consumers have every right to raise questions.

I hate intrude in the birthday party, but if OS X 10.0 can have indicators to which process in open and running in the background (the black triangles in the screen shot) in 2000, then why can't iOS in 2011? :rolleyes:
