Do I qualify for EB2 category?

We need to have multipronged strategy:
1. Visa recapture.
2. Removing spouses from EB count or excluding spouses from recaptured visas atleast
3. No country caps for recaptured visas
4. Raising the country cap to say 12-15% per country.
5. Allowing 485 when PD is not current.
6. Skill based points system etc.
We should be for reform which is transparent and fair to all sides. Putting all eggs in one basket may not help. By having multi pronged agenda , we will get atleast something.

A new ruling is different than challenging an existing rule. So, we cannot compare with DL Issue. Name checks, I don't think it is logical. But at the same time, it is not with sinister design as well. Latest memo doesnt admit that they introduced this to screw us. It happened consequentially due to delays, less funding allocation and other processing slack. (BTW, I think MI IV Leadership team did a wonderful job for the DL Issue.)

I know on a humorous note I was thinking people who are married are worried about their family problems.People who are not married are worried about when they will get married.Don't know who has time to worry about some politicians marriage on top of that during elections time.
Ultimately everything boils down to corruption. Huge money is going down in the pockets of big media houses, it is so damn obvious...Hindustan times, IBN & NDTV carried pictures of Priyanka Gandhi's children for 3 days on the front page, I never saw pictures or anything on Chandrababu Naidu, Yedirappa, Badal, Gehlot, Shivraj Chauhan or for that reason anybody....these kids are more important than our grassroot leaders ? The family is talking about "Rahul kee Shaadee" and the whole media is printing that, nobody's asking them where were you and what you did in last 5 years ???

This proposal if it hits the major news media will atleast catch the attention of most people regarding our plight as immigrants.
On the other hand though, those on the other side will think that this proves their point --- they are losing jobs and money -- immigrants are taking it. They are losing houses and properties --- immigrants are taking it. They will put the blame on us.

The question doesn't arise because he is SRK or APJ or in future Manmohan singh. The point is does it take TWO HOURS to find the identity of the person. How did you feel when you were questioned for an hour at the POE even after staying here for 9 years and stay in US legally and paying taxes etc.. can't they have better immigration procedures in place to identify legal from illegal (LIKE biometric finger printing, etc). They have this sophisticated computer information network.. if you give your SSN they can find any data they want.. about your employer, about your pay roll, your taxes etc.. then why this delay at POE to idenfity geniune people from entering US. These actions look totally racist to me. Don't you think these (US) people know how to improve this system.. they can but there is no will to do so.. Just look at priority dates how they swing +5 years to -5 years every year (2000 to 2005). It looks like someone just picks any year between 2000 to 2005 based on his mood. Can't this developed country have a software system to predict visa number availability or to predict how the dates should advance and by how much... this is want really sucks.. this so called developed country doesn't have a system in place for immigration issues.. Just look at the people who got their green cards who's priority dates were 2006 and people from 2002 or 2003 are still waiting.. how can their system (software) allow people with older dates to wait while someone with PD 2006 get their GC.. Things can be better managed and controlled with total transperancy but there is no WILL to do so.. i am not sure if IV can play any role in pushing some reforms to have a better system in place. There was another thread discussing about IO officers visting to employee office to find geniune applications and for more details.. this is simple waste of money and resources with SSN can give you almost 90% of the details.... overall the frustration is about the System and not about SRK or APJ.
While proponents would mask this whole backlog issue as something purposefully done by the "system" I don't buy it. It is a proven disaster.
As far as the software goes clearly their programmers suck. They sure could use some help from the more efficient H1B's.

This whole conversation was not intended to be personal and if it hurt you in any way then we all apologize ,most of the people here might be in or against amway/quixter but they are all more pissed of by the way they are harassed by so called IBO's with the way they treat their prospective clients.
Why not just move on if somebody says no or gives a excuse to the IBO's, if anybody does
really feel interested they will ultimately come back to you guys but why harass them with multiple calls and personal visits.

Maybe Indians don't have balls, but there is something called cultural exchange which every country share with each another. Now if SRK decides that US immigration has mistreated him and he decides not to enter US, world is not going to fall down. Recently I heard that HOLLYWOOD wants to come BOLLYWOOD to make investments, maybe out of bussiness sense HOLLYWOOD should support SRK. Big B recently refused doctorate from Aussie university in support of Indian students mistreated in Australia. Maybe Indians don't have balls but they have brains.

Shahrukh khan takes the foreign distribution rights as compensation so that his
foreign income is tax free and keeps his Indian income in rupees lower (taxable).
One of the reason why he makes movies with storyline outside India and US being a big market he needs to go.
So as protest like Amitabh he should change his compensation structure so that he doesn't need movies with story line in US etc. Will he do it ?I dont think so !!!!!
