Very interesting. Today I tried to find something on immigration on thomas and I could not. I do not know how you digged it out, but definately you did a good job. From what I see...something is cooking behind the scenes. I wonder if the core IV ara aware of this immigration commition thing....

When did you file your I485. Reason I ask this is because if the dates are not current, how were you approved your gc if you are eb3 and your pd is 2004 jan ?

I have two more question that I am not sure about:
1-I understand from your letter that EB2-NIW has less requirements than EB1-OR, and hence it is more safe to apply for EB2-NIW. Is that true?
2-In case I want to apply for EB1-OR, does my company has to sign I-140. I am just worried that they does not want to sponsor me till after 3 years? Does I-140 hurt the company by any means?

Cool down dude, I can understand OPs frustrations, I am in same boat and see similar cases around, not that ead or ap is anything great, just that someone who applied before feels rejected seeing TSC giving out eads like cookies:)

. After 180 days you may leave, but you will have to find a new employer who is willing to hire you on permanent basis upon getting you GC for same/similar job as in the LC. What you do until your GC is approved (contract job with this employer or something else) is a different matter. Those employments can be on EAD, H1, temp/permanent, etc.
What if the job i'm moving to after 180 days is hiring me permanently now itself? Do they still have to specify (in EVL for AC21) that they will hire me perm only upon getting GC?

There is no gross misconception at all. IV core has gone out of its way on many many ocasions to explain that 485 measure is only short term tactical decision since they cannot do much currently with appropriations bill. Do you really think that the people who are opposing the 485 measure are so dumb that they can't even understand simple english. They do understand that this a short term tactical decision and the focus is on solving retrogression either with CIR SKIL and other bills as and when the oportunity arises.
The 485 issue is raked up over and over again because the overwhelming majority of people who are opposing 485 measure have already applied for 485 and dont want other to apply for it. I will not go into deatils explaining how it will not affect them and so on because this was discussed in detail in the long 485 measure thread.
I hope IV does push for the 485 measure but if for whatever reason they change there mind and dont push for 485, I would be disappointed but that will in no way affect my attitude towards IV. Over the past year or so I have seen enough of core tem to say they take a decision in the best intrest of IV.

Fully aware this is not the right time to correct eachother, but their is something in me that forces me to dis-approve your comment on " ... legitimate cause for sucide". I hope you will take it in friendly spirit.
We all are fighting our battles on all levels in all the different ways ...be it financial, social, family or professional. And in some of these we will win and inothers we shall lose, if not have. And it might be that mental illness drove this young man into such desperate direction, but little did he realize the consequences of his near-sightedness. No matter how depressing and gloomy it may appear, we should not forget that tommorow can be better. Life is a cherished previliage given to us and we should put to it's best intended use as per God's will.
So let's be brave and encourage eachother so that no-one else show up on news in manner the departed souls. My deep sympathys to those affected by this tradegy and apologizes for any un-wonted offence.

I know of a company which will keep $2 + 10% for payroll taxes. A lot better than the one above.
There is so much competetion in this space that people have reduced their margins to next to nothing.

I140 denied from NSC .got REF on 03/08 . Was for A2p.fellows got same RFE and got approved from same employer but mine got denied .Didnt get official notice yet .What are my options .please advise.
Im on 4 ye H1b .and have option to change employer and also have option to keep the same employer and work for another employer at the same time .

Yes I called the original civil surgeon and the TB test is going to cost $15 only and Xray $40.
I found the reason I got the RFE.
I had a copy of the last TB test report.
That civil surgeon FORGOT TO CHECK MARK the TB test !!!!
He checked a different section !!!
I feel bad that I missed to read it!
I could have rectified the DARN doctor then and there.
It was during the July fiasco. We were all in a hurry and tensed up.

Once this RFE is cleared, I am going to Sue that doctor for expenses!
I feel sad that people dont do their jobs properly in this ADVANCED country.
