That seams like a great idea! But how can I use the mask and wand tool? Can anyone please teach me?
Either use the toolbar or the shortcuts to activate the MASK or WAND tool.
"M" for rectangular or circular masks, "L" for the Lasso tool and "W" for the Wand.
Or do you mean something else entirely? Have you checked the PSD I attached? Have you checked the plethora of tutorials out there on how to use PS? Have you checked the HELP of PS?

Better check the latest Delta ruling -- no use of an iPod on board at any time.
Hard to believe, but that is the statement in their magazine and they are having the flight attendents enforce it.:(
Can you provide more information about that? There's nothing on Delta's Website that references that, including the latest security bulletins. There is the link to their press release about increased iPod integration, dated November 2006: press release here (http://news.delta.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=10453). Nor are there any iPod-related security suggestions on the TSA's website (which would be the *only* reason Delta or any airline would try to mess with personal music player usage).
I do know you are not supposed to be using any electronic device (which would include the iPod) at take-off or landing, but having a few frequent flier tickets behind me (all earned with the help of my iPod), I just find this very strange.

Apps all run in the same format and screen size. Even the new retina display is only an enlargement of the original format, but shown at the higher resolution. Apps running on the iPad run at the native format, or specifically for the iPad format, which is different code.
If Apple introduced a different sized screen, that would be a pain to the installed base and app developer. For this reason, I don't think it is true.
Not a very good argument IMO... They could maintain the same resolution and have a smaller or larger screen size.

This seems to be the fastest way to get going:

sqlite3 is installed on OS/X, so you can skip the downloading and setup. Once you understand SQL commands and can make sqlite3 work you can move to a larger client/server SQL if you need to.

bad decision. apps like motion gps I'd pay $0.99 for and use the maps over the air.
If I'm going to pay $40 for a gps app it'd be cause I relied on it. Wouldn't chance having service.

Whoever advised them to not put the maps onboard and download as needed, needs to be fired- poor decision.
Went from Cleveland to Flordia with a download based GPS on my iPhone, had no issues.

I'm expecting both a retail DVD release as well as a downloadable release. I'll personally be getting the DVD for easier install on multiple machines.

You know that DVDs are slow, right? Even this 5400RPM drive is 4x faster than the DVD would be. This is my gray install DVD, which I'm going to replace with Lion once it's out, btw. This works fine with USB sticks/SD cards and the regular Snow Leopard DVD as well, if you need it more often. Just make sure to get an USB stick that is faster than the DVD (~10MB/s).

Hopefully this will address the issues some users have seen with the Mac Pro apparently not being able to boot beyond a black screen when using the XP disc to boot from. Although I would think that is more an issue of GFX than firmware on the Mac Pro...maybe they're the same thing!
Also, why two different downloads? Surely they could be incorporated into the same file...
