I think I'm going to take it in anyways, first chance I get...I just feel like it's too unreliable and what if it happens again and there's an emergency where I need my phone? For what I paid for this thing, I shouldn't be worrying all the time that it will brick itself for no reason with no warning. I'm just concerned that if I take it in and it's working they won't swap it, and the closest Apple store is an hour away.

It was what I was expecting to be honest - a slightly smaller 360. Not crazy small, just a little bit.
Built in 802.11n is a nice touch, seeing as MS charge insane money for their WiFi adapters, and they have been playing catch up to the PS3 (especially the Slims) for built in features.
Stuff I don't like? Gloss! Sony realised glossy didn't work that well and went to matte, but MS have done the opposite. Still stuck with a custom HDD, which will no doubt be overpriced for replacements.

Probably not. I've got a recent FF XIII Super Elite 360, so this offers me very little - literally built in WiFi vs. my adapter, and power/noise. Not worth the money.

because it's turned on by default. it should be off by default (IMO) and then turned on as an option. many people aren't aware that Facebook's new "features" are almost always on when rolled out.
It will only update if you allow it to use your location, and then after that only if you tap the places icon. It doesn't update your location automatically.

First other organizations offer abortions as well. So I'm not sure what your logic is getting at.

Finally, I don't know if what Abby Johnson is saying is true but if abortions are truly going on at a magnitude that she suggests and PP is illegally funding them, I don't know why she's the only firsthand source.
I dont know how many of you guys actually have firsthand experience with PP and how many are just doing the keyboard jockey thing but I've been in 3 Planned Parenthood waiting rooms. Those places are always packed with women. It'll be raining and the place won't open for another hour and there will still be a line outside. From looking around, I have never seen any woman there with a late term pregnancy. What I did see were a lot of women - usually from high school to mid-20's, lower income, probably no health insurance. Since my high school days, PP has always been the primary resource for testing and/or contraception. Through their counseling, which is actually pretty effective, it's also one of the best resources to learn how to be sexually responsible.

My Macpro is shipping tomorrow, I wonder if they will do the update since it's still technically in their hands.
Speaking of which, the build times are much faster! I ordered my Macpro with X1900, 2 gigs of ram, Bluetooth/Airport and 160 drive last Saturday. They placed a hold on my order until Tuesday while verifying my educational status, then sent me a notice the next day (Wednesday) telling me that my order is being processed. My Macpro is scheduled to ship tomorrow and my new 23" ACD is on the truck for delivery today. If everything goes well, I might have a new system for the weekend. That's pretty damn fast for a BTO!

2. 32GB and 64G storage.
3. 1080P recording with 8 megapixel camera
4. A5 chip
5. Maybe higher ram or maybe not.
6. Throw in something new... like better gyroscope or something to just make iPhone 4 outdated, but nothing major.
This is BS. It's not good enough, apple.
To a lot, it is good enough.
Let's not forget that a lot of Apple customers cannot upgrade every year.
Those in countries with sponsered phones usually have more-than-12-month contract and those with sim-lock-free phone pay(something equivalent to) 600-700 Euros for a phone.
If an upgrade is too good, a lot of those people who have had an iPhone 4 will not be very pleased.
Personally, i'm happy with a 2-yearly update (3GS to 4GS/5/Whatever they call.
The iPad 2 was also a good evolution without letting they iPad 1 owners feel ripped of.

Whoever advised them to not put the maps onboard and download as needed, needs to be fired- poor decision.

That brain dead decision has elevated their products usefulness to that of Google Maps. Maybe just slightly better. But from a user experience driving in the middle of nowhere and then coming into an area where you need street date etc. ...that design just SUCKS big time. When you need it most ...major , MAJOR FAIL.

Not so sure about this guy. Based on the picture, he seems to have that "deer staring at headlights" look that all M$ employees display, especially Ballmer.

Wow... short sighted on the networks part. I'm surprised.... no difference than just having another TV in your house, just on your Tablet. It would be interesting to know more about their motivation behind this... maybe they want to go direct? In other words, maybe Discovery and the other channels want to sell direct subscriptions and not go through channel partners like Time Warner?
If that is the case... I smell disaster for the networks. Who wants to buy individual channels for their computers, iPads or other devices? Not me? It would have to be dirt cheap.
Hummm.... thinking about it... maybe it's not so dumb? If each channel was $.99 and I could pick Ala-carte who I wanted, I know my Cable bill would go from $40 per-month to less than $10. Maybe they are onto something thinking about it?

I agree. When I'm holding my iPod horizontally, I usually always rest my thumb over home button.
And speaking as someone that used an EVO4G (lapse of judgement :P) with capacitance buttons, its not a fun experience... Way too easy to accidentally hit them. Plus, you need that home button for all the resetting and jailbreaking ;)

This was addressed earlier, but I haven't found a solution yet.
In "Live Feed", Farmville/Game stuff still shows up even if I've selected them not to via the full website
So, if I got to status updates in the app, or the website they don't show up, but they do in the Live Feed.
