I used to work as a cashier in the ladies shoes section of Marshall Fields (department store) at Oak Brook Mall (which also has an Apple store).
A cute young lady from the cosmetics department had been admiring me from afar. I had no clue about it. Then one or two salespeople in my department asked me if I was available (these salespeople were older married ladies so I guess it was "safe" for them to ask) and then they let me know that a pretty girl from the cosmetics department had a crush on me.
Anyway, I think I was either not interested or I was in a long-distance-relationship but nothing happened between me and cosmetics woman.
efoto, the reason I'm bringing this up is to give you an idea for another strategy - if there's a cool / friendly / helpful Apple store employee maybe they could let you know whether your crush is already spoken for.

Microsoft just confirmed the leak from yesterday. The new version of the Xbox 360 is shipping now, and will be in stores later this week. Details are fairly slim as of right now, but here is what we know so far...

As I understand it the drugs they use are poisons and the job of the anestisiologist (?) is to give you just enough to nearly kill you and keep that dose constant throughout the op, so your more dead than asleep.
Probably best not to try and fight with the guy trying very hard to not-quite-kill-you!
I guess I never really fight it. I'm out in a heartbeat. I just like to see who long it takes me, which is never long.

How so. I have shot tethered from 5D to Macbook (RAW & JPG). What software are you using?
I have not tried yet with C1Pro but works with canon remote capture software.

Do you have a server to connect to? These are clients. I recommend going with MAMP and MysqlWorkbench as they are the most beginner friendly ones I can think of.

Very skillful in how Jobs face and legs are hidden. Im beginning to think the newspapers are right about his condition
You pretty much can't see anybody's legs cuz they're are all under the table. Yes, very skillful photography there! And what about the guy sitting to the left of Steve Jobs? We can't see his face either! What is he trying to hide?
Also, pretty tasteless to dress the way he does. I'm not a fan of Obama, but if I were to meet him and sit next to him for dinner, I would respect the office enough not no dress in freakin' turtle neck.
Most of the men are not wearing ties, AFAICT, including Obama. Seems to be a more casual attire. So what? And Larry Ellison is also wearing a turtle neck. Where's the outrage for him?

Intel's line doesn't leave much room for a bump... unless Apple is going to use the Core and Core 2 processors as a product differential. Talk about gay considering the two kinds of chips costs pretty much the same.
theres almost no difference in processor speed between the MB and MBP now. it would be smart for mini and Mb's to core 2 also since there the same price. but it's hotter and duo works so maybe just MBP tommorrow.

Following on from this story, apparently FoxConn will be supplying Apple with 15.4" MacBooks/MacBook Pros in May 2007.

I know Steve has some kind of plane to take on the Pentium world hes a smart guy especially if he got this far.

Let me tell you I was so excited about the "new Pentium 4 Processor" when it came out. To tell you the truth there is not a whole lot difference between Pentium 3 700Mhz, and Pentium 4 2.4Ghz. I was actually dispointed because everybody made such a big deal about it. The Mhz numbers looked nice on p4 but I waisted my money!

The eu client is up now.
In my late 2009 13 pro starcrart 2 is really slow in OS. I hope Apple to give us new Nvidia drivers with 10.6.4 and Blizzard to do some optimizations.
Good think is that it runs great in Windows 7 64bit. Back to bootcamp again...

Oh, last time they don't even recommend what they rate as the best smartphone in the market, and now they recommend the iPad 2? Either because there is virtually no tablets on the market or the popularity of iPhone 4 is killing the credibility of CR.

Actually they are concerned that their mac share is growing and they were not ready for it. Within their creative apps macs are over 50% and growing.

read all you want... but nothing beats looking and seeing what work is being done. Try to get a sense of quick fads and trends, and ignore them.
One of my favorite haunts is Flickr's Hive mind...

I snagged an open box 16G from Best Buy for $388 all in last week.
When this popped up I decided to pick one from VZ and return the Best Buy unit. While I was at Verizon rchecking out with their last 16G some other guy came in looking for one.
Doing the math I was looking at saving $65 bucks minus the hassel of wiping and reboxing the thing; driving back to Bast Buy; loosing the six months no interest and setting up the new one. Not such a huge deal in my world so I offered it to the guy and he took it instead.
Maybe I scored some karma points...
