not sure if I understand what's going on here. It looks like a rendering error. Are you sure the page just wasn't rendered weird? Can you take a screenshot of the full page. The ad is supposed to between those two stories.

I have only been folding with my GPUs since folding the CPU puts off way too much heat. Im hoping to have my air conditioning hooked up soon, it's all free since I work in the sheet metal/hvac trade :p

My friend told me about this site last night and asked me to check it out and see if it was legit. Every review I've read says it's safe and good to go. It just seems like a napster / bearshare / limewire only web based. I haven't found anything stating this is illegal so just curious if you all have heard anything. If this is legit why doesn't iTunes just offer free music the way this site does.

I think the free 38 character engraving is one of the things that makes this product so special. Buying one without it seems to devalue it's significance to me. :rolleyes: :confused: :eek:

Some of the features are free--however the iCal integration is not. In fact, it costs something like $20--$5-10 and I mighta bought it.
Yeah I've been playing with it and the amount of cool stuff it does for free is more then their website makes it sound like. A definite must have!

In the UK, under its purely municipal law, there is a presumption that retail price management agreements are against the public interest, and therefore unenforceable. I bet the next revision of the shuffle will be 2GB - and will remain the same form factor (if this proves popular). There currently are FLASH chips in 2GB capacity that would fit right into the new shuffle. The catch is the price... Market value on smaller 2GB chips is about 5X the price of 1GB chips right now. In other words, Apple could release a 2GB version of the G2 Shuffle, it would just cost about another $100 and there probably isn't sufficeint production yield of 2GB chips yet. But in it's new/current form, the small size and ~240 song capacity for about $80 makes it a real winner.
This post answers my question. So it would be reasonable that one year from now a 3G shuffle could be 2 gigglebytes (reduces confusion :) )
I would bet the Shuffle form factor would stay the same and the Nano, same thing. It is the 5G iPod which I think might see a form factor revision "next". I would think the 2G/3G Shuffle software could be upgraded fairly easily to have a doubletap change playlists as well.

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.
The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.
Try simple logic.
Apple is releasing an update to fix bugs (after having just released an earlier update to fix bugs). And so people post about their bugs. There's nothing "suspicious" about this at all.
